WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Monday, October 22, 2018, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will travel to Nagoya, Japan for the LNG Producer-Consumer Conference 2018. He will provide a keynote speech discussing the bright future for U.S. LNG and energy cooperation in Asia and abroad.

On Tuesday, October 23, 2018, Brouillette will participate in a Hydrogen Energy Ministerial hosted by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). He will provide remarks at an open session on the importance of enhancing the utilization of hydrogen on a global scale.

While in Japan, he will also hold several bilateral meetings with government officials and industry representatives to increase and expand upon the energy collaboration between the United States and Japan.
