WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Tuesday, October 16, 2018, U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry will travel to Ames, Iowa to visit the Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Ames National Laboratory on the campus of Iowa State University. Out of DOE’s 17 National Laboratories, Ames will be Perry’s sixteenth lab visit. While there, he will tour the lab’s facilities, provide remarks, and answer employee’s questions at an all-hands meeting. Following the all-hands meeting, Secretary Perry will hold a brief media availability.
